Terms Conditions

Vehicle Category Reservation Policy

All bookings with Corfu Vibes Car Rental are made by vehicle category, not by specific car model.
In the rare event that your selected category is unavailable upon your confirmed reservation, we will gladly upgrade you to a higher category vehicle at no additional cost.

Driver Age Requirement

To rent a vehicle from any category with Corfu Vibes Car Rental, drivers must be at least 25 years old.

Driving License Requirements

To rent a vehicle with Corfu Vibes Car Rental, all drivers must present a valid driving license that permits driving within Greece and the EU, issued at least one year prior to the rental start date.

Drivers from non-EU countries are also required to provide a valid international driving permit (IDP) in addition to their national license.

Traffic Violations & Fines

Any traffic fines or penalties resulting from violations of the Greek Highway Code during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the Renter.
Where applicable, the Renter is also liable for any administrative or processing fees related to the handling of such violations.

Payment & Guarantee Policy

All rentals with Corfu Vibes Car Rental are prepaid.
Even if you choose to pay in cash, a valid credit card is still required as a guarantee for the rental.

Out-of-Hours Service Fee

For pick-ups or drop-offs taking place between 22:00 and 08:00, an additional charge of €25 applies.

Vehicle Delivery & Collection

Deliveries and collections outside our main stations are available upon request.

  • Within Corfu Town: €15 (per delivery or collection)

  • For locations outside the city: €25 each way

Please contact us in advance to arrange the service and confirm availability for your desired location.

Additional Drivers

An extra driver can be added to your rental for just €3 per day.
The maximum number of drivers allowed per vehicle is three (3).

All drivers must meet the age and license requirements.

Child Seat Rental

Child seats are available upon request and subject to availability.
The charge is €3 per day.

Please let us know in advance if you need one, so we can reserve it for your rental.

Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as it had at the time of pick-up.
If the car is returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged for the missing amount.

Please note: No refund is provided if the vehicle is returned with more fuel than initially received.

Insurances

CDW – Collision Damage Waiver

The renter’s liability for vehicle damage is limited as follows, provided they accept and sign the relevant terms in the rental contract:

  • Up to €500 for categories A, B, and C

  • Up to €700 for categories D, E, F, and G

  • Up to €1,000 for categories J, V, and W

This liability release applies only if the damage was not caused by a violation of the Highway Code, which must be proven.

FDW – Full Damage Waiver

Renters can be fully released from liability for vehicle damage by signing the applicable contract terms and paying an additional daily fee on top of the CDW (Collision Damage Waiver):

  • €10 per rental day for categories A, B, C, D, E, F, and G

  • €20 per rental day for categories J, H, K, V, W, and X

This waiver applies only if the damage is proven not to result from a violation of the Highway Code.

PAI – Personal Accident Insurance

The renter is not covered by Driver’s Insurance (PAI) unless they accept and sign the relevant contract terms and pay an additional fee of €3 per rental day, applicable to all vehicle categories.

The maximum insurance compensation payable under this coverage is €15,000.

Third-Party Insurance Coverage

All vehicles rented through Corfu Vibes Car Rental are insured for third-party liability (excluding the driver) with coverage limits of up to €1,220,000 per accident for death and bodily injury, as well as up to €1,220,000 for property damage caused to third parties (excluding our vehicles).

If these limits change, the minimum coverage required by Greek law will always apply.

Any damages exceeding these insurance limits, or those excluded from coverage, are the sole responsibility of the renter.

Damages exceeding the insurance coverage limit, or excluded by it, shall be fully paid by the customer.

Liability Waiver for Specific Vehicle Parts

The renter can be fully released from liability for damage to the car’s tires, wheels, undercarriage, mirrors, or glass by signing the relevant contract terms and paying an additional fee of €10 per rental day, applicable to all vehicle categories.

24-Hour Roadside Assistance

All vehicles rented through Corfu Vibes Car Rental come with 24-hour roadside assistance.
You can find the contact details for road assistance clearly stated in your rental contract for your convenience and peace of mind.

Driving Restrictions

Transporting or driving the rental car outside the island of Corfu is strictly prohibited.
